Jean-Paul Laborde, the head of the UN's counter-terrorism unit, has praised Algerian expertise in fighting terrorism.
The United Nation is interested in developing the capacities of states in fighting terrorism, said Laborde during a meeting with Algerian Minister Delegate for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.
Laborde said that he discussed with the Algerian minister ways to confront terrorism.
