New York - MENA
The United Nations (UN) hopes that the Israeli upcoming government would abide by the peaceful path of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, UN Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General Farhan Haq announced on Wednesday.
The UN is waiting for the Palestinian and Israeli parties to commit to the concluded accords, including that related to stopping the establishment of illegal settlements and resumption of the Middle east peace talks, Farhan said in statements.
The UN would continue its efforts to push forward the Mideast peace process regardless of who would represent the Palestinian or Israeli parties, he added.
