Up to 733 Iraqis, including 115 security personnel, have been killed in violent acts in January this year, the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said on Saturday.It said the violent incidents also injured 1,229 people most of them civilians.UN Secretary General's Representative for Iraq Nickolay Mladenov said Iraq was still facing "huge security challenges posed by the armed group, which are promoting violence and seek division of people." He called on political, religious and civilian leaders to unite against those groups.Mladenov said security operations should be taking place alongside comprehensive policies which respected human rights, rule of law and social development.
