The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) criticized on Thursday the British government's proposed immigration bill. The refugees would be denied access to housing or bank accounts if this bill was approved, António Guterres, UN high commissioner for refugees, said. The homeowners will be compelled to pay fines if they rent their homes to illegal immigrants, according to the bill. Immigrants will not be also able to open bank accounts without obtaining the right of residence in the United Kingdom.
