The group of African states in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), upon the demand of the Ethiopian delegation, decided to observe minutes of silences to mourn the victims of terrorist attacks that hit Sinai and left 17 army personnel dead.
They mourned also prosecutor general Hesham Barakat who was assassinated last week.
The group asserted its support to the Egyptian government and people in its war against terrorism, offering its condolences to the families of the victims.
