UN peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon Monday denied knowing or spotting a reconnaissance aircraft flying from Lebanon towards occupied Palestine. \"UNIFIL, which monitors airspace as part of its mandate and deployed on land and in sea, has no information about this,\" Andrea Tennetti, spokesman of UN Interim Force in Southern Lebanon, said in a statement. Israel announced yesterday that a reconnaissance plane violated Israeli southern airspace from Gaza Strip. Israel said the plane entered the airspace from sea and was gunned down later.
