The UN Special Envoy to Libya Martin Kobler welcomed on Wednesday the Libyan State Council's meeting held in Tripoli yesterday, describing it as a key step towards political transition.

I expect all Libyan institutions included in the Libyan political agreement to respect their jurisdictions as per the deal, Kobler said on his twitter account.

Meanwhile, the UN envoy condemned the abduction of lawyer Dia Tantosh in Tripoli, demanding his immediate release without conditions.
