Aden - MENA
Unidentified aircraft launched on Monday raids on sites of the popular resistance in the southern Yemeni governorate of Lahij, killing 12 people and injuring 40 others, sources with the resistance said.
The warplanes likely took off from Al Anad Air Base, which is controlled by Houthi militias and forces loyal to ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh, the sources were quoted by the website of Aden Ghad as saying.
The warplanes flew at low altitude and bombed the southern resistance, the sources added.
