UN Security Council member states are resuming unofficial consultations at the experts' level to discuss an Arab draft resolution on the situation in Libya in New York in order to reach a compromise on rules and procedures which regulate the UN work and its main bodies, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Sunday.
Libya has descended into factional fighting, leaving the country almost lawless for nearly four years after the fall of longtime leader Muammar Gaddafi.
The strife-torn Libya has two rival governments and parliaments, one recognized by the international community and the other with ties to Daesh.
