The United States has said that it acknowledges the difficult economic situation that Jordan is passing through and supports its people\'s rights to \"peacefully\" express their discontent with the situation.  It believed the reform plans of King Abdullah II of Jordan to rescue the country are convenient.  US State Department\'s Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner said in a statement late on Thursday \"We call on protestors to do so peacefully. We support King Abdullah II\'s roadmap for reform.\"
