Washington - MENA
The US State Department's deputy spokesperson Jeff Rathke blamed on Friday the Huthis and their supporters for the ongoing conflict in Yemen.
Speaking to reporters, Rathke said that the US has voiced its concern over the support provided by Iran to the Houthis.
The US has rejected Iran's interfere in the region, especially its support for terrorism, the US official added.
Asked about reports on the Omani mediation role in the conflict in Yemen, he said that the US urges all parties to engage in political dialogue and stick to the initiative of the Gulf Cooperation Council, related Security Council resolutions and the Yemeni constitution.
