US Consul General Candace Putnam inspected Wednesday developments in Alexandria and Dekheila ports of the Mediterranean Sea. Alexandria Port Authority Chairman Adel Yassin Hammad posted Putnam on future plans for upgrading Alexandria port\'s docks and expanding their capacity in addition to developing the port\'s divisions to be electronically linked to international harbors. The developments were carried out within the framework of the huge project meant to link Alexandria and Dekheila harbors to facilitate huge ships\' berthing and stevedoring. The consul inspected the shopping mall at the port which is considered a tourism attraction spot.
