US Defense Secretary Ash Carter headed for Israel on Sunday within the framework of a Middle East tour taking him also to Saudi Arabia and Jordan, to reassure the three Middle Eastern countries of the recent concluded Iran's nuclear deal, Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said on Sunday.
The US has no intention of offering a military deal to Israel in return for the Iran's nuclear agreement, according to US officials.
Carter will discuss with Israeli officials ways of supporting Israel's security to fight all challenging facing it, including the Iranian threats, maritime and space security risks, Cook added.
