Egypt to fight terrorism

The United States praised on Friday efforts exerted by Egypt to fight terrorism and secure its border.

In its annual report, the US State Department lauded the package of legislation issued by Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE to prevent the flow of foreign fighters to Middle East countries.

The report made reference to an address by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the UN General Assembly in September 2014, in which he focused on how to face terrorism and extremism in the world.
