The US-led international coalition launched on Tuesday 25 air raids targeting terrorist Daesh group fighters' strongholds in Iraq and Syria.

In a statement aired by Russia Today TV, the US-led coalition said it destroyed eight tactical units, 12 strongholds and four arms caches in Mosul and Ramadi in 17 air raids.

In Syria, the coalition launched eight air raids in Marea, Reqqa and Hasakah, targeting seven tactical units.
