The US-led international coalition staged 26 air raids against terrorist Daesh targets in Syria and Iraq in the past 24 hours.

Coalition jets carried out 11 airstrikes in Syria near the cities of Al Raqqah, Al Bukamal, Ain Issa and Deir ez-Zor, the US-funded Radio Sawa reported citing a coalition statement.

In Iraq, 15 raids were staged, including six near Ramadi city. The raids targeted military sites, arms depots and an explosive charge and left three militants injured, it added.

The jets also carried out strikes near the cities of Mosul, Haditha Albu Hayat, Al Kesk and Al Habbaniyah.
