US National Security Advisor Susan Rice had a meeting last night with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on the sidelines of the anti-terrorism conference.
Rice underlined the US’ commitment to strategic partnership with Egypt and offered condolences to the Egyptian government and people over recent terror attacks, including those in Sinai and the brutal slaughter of 21 nationals in Libya, National Security Council Spokesperson Bernadette Meehan said.
She also stressed the importance of Egyptian-US cooperation to help the Libyan people handle terror threats and support a unified Libyan government, Meehan added.
