US Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East Affairs Anne Patterson praised efforts exerted by Algeria in order to reach a settlement for the Libyan crisis.
The US official's remarks were made following her meeting with Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelqader Messahel.
Talks covered the situation in the Middle East region and bilateral relations, especially in the economic domain.
