US President Barack Obama and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi held meetings Friday on a series of issues, including the European economy, a pending trade accord between the United States and Europe, climate change, energy security, Ukraine, Libya, and Daesh militants.

The two leaders met through the morning, held a midday news conference, and were scheduled to hold further meetings in the afternoon.
