US President Barack Obama last night held talks with the Amir of Qatar Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, who is on an official visit to Washington. The two leaders discussed joint cooperation and regional and international developments, focusing particularly on the Middle East Developments. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways of bolstering investments and boosting education and technological cooperation, in addition to upgrading the capabilities of the Qatari armed forces towards the achievement of joint strategic interests.
