As student protesters continue to take to streets in Caracas, Venezuela, demanding the resignation of President Nicolas Maduro, the US said it "has not received any formal notification" that Maduro's government expelled three US diplomats Monday.The diplomats are accused of "making contacts with (student) leaders to offer them training and financing to create youth groups that generate violence," according to Venezuelan Foreign Minister Elias Jaua. "The allegations that the United States is helping to organize protestors in Venezuela is baseless and false," said State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki in a statement."We support human rights and fundamental freedoms - including freedom of expression and of peaceful assembly - in Venezuela as we do in countries around the world," she added. "But as we have long said, Venezuela's political future is for the Venezuelan people to decide. We urge their government to engage all parties in meaningful dialogue." Three people have been killed and up to a hundred have been arrested by security forces, including members of the press. Maduro maintains that he will not give up a "millimeter" of power.
