South Korea and the United States have today announced that they will conduct joint military drills next month (March2015), South Korean News Agency (YONHAP NEWS).
The Combined Forces Command (CFC) said that the two-week military exercise would involve around 10,000 South Korean soldiers and 8,600 American troops.Set to be held on March 2-13, the military exercise "Key Resolve" aims to improve the combined forces' operation and combat capabilities to deter threats from North Korea. The two allied countries, the US and South Koreas, are also scheduled to hold the field training exercise Foal Eagle, which involves a set of land, sea and air maneuvers, from March 2 to April 24.
