The US is to deploy an unmanned spy plane in Japan to boostsurveillance over North Korea as tensions continue to ratchet up on the Koreanpeninsula.The Global Hawk will be stationed at the US airbase in Misawa, northern Japan, inthe first ever deployment of the aircraft in the country, The Times cited Japan sSankei Shimbun newspaper as reporting.Washington is also reportedly pressuring China to crack down on the increasinglybelligerent North Korean regime or face a heightened US military presence in theregion.
