Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin has accused some members of UN the Security Council including US and UK over the attempt to rewrite the rules of the Minsk agreements with the OSCE mission in Ukraine beyond the powers agreements authority, Russian Information Network said on Friday.
"The attempt to rewrite Minsk agreement goes beyond the mandate of the OSCE mission," Churkin said.
He added: "In the process nearly 16-hour negotiations on February 12, the signed document of the contact group on measures has aimed at the implementation of the Minsk agreements. It calls for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of all heavy weapons on both sides of the conflict."
