At least three people were killed in two different incidents of violence in the southwestern Pakistani province of Balochistan on Thursday, said police. According to police, unknown motorcyclists opened indiscriminate fire in the Pasni Bazaar area of Balochistan, killing one person and wounding another. The wounded person succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. Police officials said that the unknown militants in Panjgur bazaar area of the province killed another person by gun fire. Police reached the site of the incidents but the militants managed to flee the scene. Militants insurgency, sectarian violence and criminal activists have gripped Balochistan for a long time. The provincial government offered all the militant groups in the province chances for dialogues but the province remained a victim of violence. Unknown militants in the province have also torched several NATO containers carrying supplies for foreign troops in neighboring landlocked Afghanistan in the last few days.
