Spokesperson for the US Department of State Jen Psaki said that the US is closely following up the current situation in Yemen.
This comes after reports on clashes between forces supporting President Abd Rabu Mansour and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh near Adan airport.
The US is concerned over the action that will increase the tension and instability in Yemen, Psaki said, calling on all parties concerned to work on avoiding violence.
