President's adviser for Defense and Security Affairs Ali Mohsen Saleh met here on Wednesday with Chargé d'affaires at the U.S. embassy to Yemen Karen Sasahara. During the meeting, Saleh and Sasahara discussed reviewed the latest developments in the national arena in the light of the great success of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) and the consensus on its outcomes. The President's adviser expressed appreciation of the great support provided to Yemen by the United States alongside the ten countries sponsoring the political settlement based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism. He underlined the significance of the NDC's outcomes, which form the foundation of a new era in the country that meets the aspirations of the entire Yemeni people for security, stability and development. For her part, Sasahara reiterated the continued support of the United States to Yemen during the next phase, praising the success of the national dialogue, which serves as a model in the region to solve political problems through dialogue.
