Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser Ahmed met here on Wednesday with Turkey\'s ambassador to Yemen Fazli Corman. During the meeting, Ahmed and Corman discussed the bilateral relations and joint cooperation areas between the armies of the two countries, especially in the field of military training and information exchange. The Defense Minister praised the level of the existing cooperation and partnership between the defense ministries of Yemen and Turkey, stressing the importance of developing the areas of military cooperation to benefit from the Turkish experience in defense fields. Corman underlined the Turkish government\'s readiness to provide all aspects of support and assistance to the Yemeni army in order to enhance security and stability in Yemen and in the region. He praised the successes made in the Yemeni armed forces under the transition to the new organizational structure.
