Yemeni political delegations, including Houthis, left Sanaa on Sunday on board of an United Nations plane to take part in the UN-led talks in Geneva on the Yemeni crisis.

Local sources said these delegations decided to attend the talks after the UN agreed on their request over the representation mechanism.

Officials of the General People's Congress party of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh also left Sanaa for the conference, sources said.

The delegation representing the government of embattled President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi arrived in Geneva Saturday morning.

The talks are slated to be first meeting involving all parties in the conflict.
