The Shura Council’s Speaker Abdulrahman Ali Othman expressed Yemen\'s aspiration to strengthen its relations with Iran in the light of the recent political variables in Iran after the recent presidential elections. During his meeting on Tuesday with the Iranian ambassador to Yemen, Mahmoud Ali Zadeh on the occasion of ending his term, Othman asserted the historic relations between the two countries. For his part, the Iranian ambassador voiced his thanks for the cooperation he received at the Shura Council during his tenure in Yemen, wishing prosperity for Yemen and the success for the national dialogue.
