On Wednesday 23rd January, medical sources announced that a 16-year-old boy died of wounds sustained over the weekend when he was shot by an Israeli army bullet. Saleh Amareen was critically injured when he was hit by a bullet in the head during confrontations with Israeli soldiers near Aida refugee camp in the north of Bethlehem. He was taken to a hospital in Bethlehem before he was transferred to a hospital in Israel due to his critical condition. He was in a coma lfor three days before he was pronounced dead.
