Beirut - NNA
"Future" bloc member Deputy Khaled Zahraman stressed that March 8 would seek to postpone the upcoming elections through adopting the procrastination policy, adding that "elections delay survives the current Cabinet." "Speaker of the House Nabih Berri is subject to pressure from Hezbollah and Change and Reform bloc to call for a session at the Parliament to approve the Orthodox law," the MP told "Fajr" radio on Wednesday. The MP ruled out the possiblity that Berri would call for a session as this would contradict his calls for abolishing political sectarianism. On the other note, the MP held the Cabinet responsible for the security tensions that happened yesterday (Tuesday) in Bekaa, north and Beirut, saying that such tensions resulted from the failure of the Cabinet to commit to the dissociation policy. "The existence of arms in streets caused these security incidents," Zahraman stressed.
