GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani met here today with the Representative of the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces (SNCORF) to the Cooperation Council Adib Al Shishakli on the occasion of assuming that post.. The GCC Secretary General welcomed the SNCORF representative to the GCC, wishing him success in his mission. He underlined of the GCC Secretariat keenness to strengthen cooperation and coordination with the Syrian National Coalition and to provide all forms of support to facilitate its missions. Zayani confirmed the continuation of the GCC countries’ support of the Syrian people to achieve their legitimate aspirations in a manner that preserves the security, stability, unity and sovereignty of Syria. For his part, Al Shishakli expressed the SNCORF’s thanks and appreciation to the GCC for its honourable positions and support for r the Syrian people in their quest to achieve their legitimate aspirations, and the support and assistance in provided in various fields.
