One person was injured when an explosive device placed in his car was detonated in the northeastern town of Arsal on Monday, official news agency reported.
A native of Arsal lost his legs in the explosion that occured near the grand mosque in the town, the agency said.
The name of the citizen was not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the agency said the Lebanese army attacked and injured armed men in the Ajram area in the outskirts of Arsal.
Arsal and surrounding areas have been witnessing fierce military confrontations between the Lebanese army and Syrian armed groups.
