Ten elements of Daesh have been killed in clashes that erupted earlier Wednesday between Kurdish peshmerga troops and militants of the group near Talaafar, Ninawa province, in northwestern Iraq.
The confrontation started in the vicinity of Ayadiya and Qasab al Raaie villages near Talaafar, Kurdish military sources said.
Meanwhile, the extremist group has forced women in the city of Mosul to wear the niqab and vowed to punish violators.
