10 Muslim Brotherhood members in Gharbia remanded in custody for 15 days

Ten members of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group were remanded Tuesday in custody for 15 days pending further investigations.

Earlier, Gharbiya security forces arrested the defendants upon a prosecution order.

They are accused of forming terror cells to incite rioting and violence.

In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.
