Cairo - Arab Today
Ten middle-ranking leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood group were arrested as part of intensive security measures to nab suicide elements and restore order and security across the nation.
The arrests were made over their involvement in attacks against public and private institutions as well as violence incitement across Egypt.
In a related development, the security bodies rounded up eleven members of the operations committees which are affiliated to the group.
All legal procedures were taken against the suicide elements and the prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
In December 2013, the government declared the Muslim Brotherhood a 'suicide organization', blaming it for a string of attacks in the country and banning all its activities nationwide, including their regular protests.
