CUSTOMS officers have foiled an attempt to smuggle 10 kg of marijuana, worth BD10,000 at the Bahrain International Airport. Customs Chief Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said that the confiscated drugs were found hidden in 34 plastic boxes during a routine inspection of an air shipment heading to a GCC country."The seized shipment has been handed over to the security authority of the destination country as per the legal measures", Customs chief said.
