Three people were killed and eight others injured in two traffic accidents in the Upper Egypt governorate of Sohag.

The first accident happened when a hearse overturned as the driver lost control on the driving wheel as the right tire exploded.

The car driver and a companion were killed and three others injured in the accident.

Another accident took place when two cars collided on the Assiut-Sohag road, leaving a woman dead and five others injured.
