At least one person has been killed and 11 more have been injured in a multiple-vehicle collision on the desert road western el Noubariya area in Behaira.
Saeid el Sayyed Ibrahim Ghanem, 39, was killed when two trucks hit a micro bus on the desert road leading to Cairo earlier Friday.
The injured were moved to hospital with fractures and bruises.
An investigation has been launched.
