A misdemeanor court in Alexandria sentenced 12 Muslim Brotherhood members, including three in absentia, to two years in prison over charges of joining a terrorist group and intimidating citizens.
The convicted had been arrested during an unlicensed protest during which they chanted slogans against the army and police, blocked the road and terrified citizens.
