At least 12 persons were injured in a road accident in Suez on Saturday.

A microbus overturned on Qatamiya-Ain Sokhna road in Suez, variously wounding 12, who are now receiving treatment at the Suez General Hospital.

A security source said most of those injured are construction workers who were on their way to their work location in Ain Sokhna.

The microbus overturned due to high speed, the source added.

An investigation has been launched.
