As many as 120 immigrants were arrested in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi on Friday over illegally entering the country.
Spokesman for the Illegal Migration Department Walid Ereify said that the arrests were carried out in cooperation with army units in Benghazi.
The arrestees are of different African and Asian nationalities, he added.
