Ramallah - MENA
As many as 120 Palestinians continue their hunger strike in the Nafha Prison, southern Israel, in protest against the facility administration's repression.
In a statement on Friday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said the Palestinian Fatah movement inmates resorted to an open-ended hunger strike for the third day in row, in response to the escalation measures the jailers took against them, such as beating by batons, police dogs, tear gas and other violations.
Around 6,000 Palestinian inmates held in nearly 20 Israeli prisons, the club said.
