Libyan Navy seized a boat carrying 129 illegal migrants offshore of Zuwara city in northwestern Libya while trying to reach Europe.

In exclusive statements to MENA on Thursday, Naval spokesman Colonel Ayub Kassem said the navy arrested 129 illegal migrants from African nationalities including 10 women.

The boat's crew and passengers were moved to board guard station in Zuwara.

A probe was launched into the incident.
