Thirteen members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood were arrested on Friday during a crackdown on rallies staged by the group in eastern Cairo.
Eight suspects were arrested in Matariya district. One of them had a 9mm pistol.
Five others were nabbed during a small rally in el-Salam city.
