Thirteen members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group were remanded in custody for 15 days pending investigation into violence charges in Gharbia.

The MB members are accused of inciting violence, rioting and disrupting public peace.

The group was designated as a terrorist organisation by the government in late 2013.

It has been blamed for orchestrating terrorist attacks against security forces in the last two years.
