Thirteen people were injured on Friday when random shells were fired against the Libyan city of Kufra.

A number of shells hit residential neighborhoods in the city, wounding 13 people, said a security source.

A number of the injured were released after being given first-aid while others are still in hospital for follow-up, medics noted.
