At least 13 Takfiri elements were killed in a wide-scale security campaign launched in south Arish, Sheikh Zewayed and Rafah cities in North Sinai governorate, security sources said on Sunday.
Also, the campaign resulted in arresting four suspects and destroying a range of criminal hotbeds, according to the sources.
About 11 motorcycles, eight vehicles, some stolen ambulances, a truck and a number of weapons as well as ten barrels of explosive materials were seized in the campaign, the sources added.
Furthermore, four explosive devices were detonated without causing any casualties.
