More than 1,300 Egyptians have been evacuated from Yemen since the start of the conflict there, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said Sunday.
Abdel Aati said that 34 Egyptian citizens were evacuated on board a flight of a friendly countries, while 20 others left the country on board a merchant ship.
Also, 25 Egyptians arrived in Cairo, coming from Djibouti after being evacuated from Yemen.
Meanwhile, 46 Egyptians crossed al Tawal border crossing between Yemen and Saudi Arabia on Sunday, while scores of Egyptians crossed the border into Oman, the spokesman said.
